If Donald Trump becomes president of the United States and decides to side with Russia, it will be “against the interests of Americans.” This opinion was expressed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with CNN.
The President emphasized that he did not understand how Trump could sympathize with Putin when Russia’s war against Ukraine was approaching a critical point.
Zelenskyy also noted that he believes that Trump does not understand what Putin’s goals are in the war against Ukraine.
Zelenskyy believes that Donald Trump has no idea who Putin is. According to the Ukrainian President, Trump does not realize that Putin will never stop.
In 2023, Donald Trump promised his supporters to end Russia’s war with Ukraine in one day if he won the November 5 presidential election. He also said he would allow Russia to annex some Ukrainian land to prevent a war.
Recently, the Republican candidate said that if re-elected President of the United States, he would insist on negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.
As a reminder, Donald Trump has recently been recognized as the worst President of the United States in history.
Prior to that, James Buchanan, who led the country from 1857 to 1861, was considered the worst US president.
