LLC Maincast, with Ukrainian businessman Maksym Krippa as its investor, has announced the launch of two new TV channels — Maincast and Maincast Sport. The official launch is scheduled for November 30, 2024, with content available via cable television and OTT platforms. The National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting has confirmed the information, emphasizing the importance of this project for developing Ukrainian-language content.
Putting the Viewer at the Center
The Maincast Sports channel will serve as a hub for sports events, broadcasting international competitions live. A particular focus is placed on supporting Ukrainian sports: the broadcasts of national team performances aim to highlight the achievements of Ukrainian athletes and attract global attention.
The Maincast channel, designed for a broader audience, will feature entertainment shows, analytical programs, and content showcasing modern Ukrainian culture. Both channels will broadcast exclusively in Ukrainian, fostering national identity and expanding the Ukrainian-language media space.
The Digital Era with Maincast.tv
Alongside the TV channels, the company will launch the OTT platform Maincast.tv. This platform will combine sports content with exclusive projects. According to Vitaliy Volochay, the company’s co-founder, Maincast.tv represents a significant step forward in promoting Ukrainian-language broadcasts. The platform will offer users an innovative viewing experience, from interactive analytics to unique shows tailored specifically for the Ukrainian audience.

Part of Maksym Krippa’s Global Vision
For Maksym Krippa, the launch of Maincast and Maincast Sport is another step in realizing his ambitious strategy to invest in the digital space. His portfolio already includes iconic projects like the esports club NAVI and GSC Game World, the developer of the legendary game S.T.A.L.K.E.R..
A Boost for the Ukrainian Media Market
The new media initiatives from Maincast not only open new opportunities for the development of Ukraine’s media market but also contribute to the global promotion of national culture. Maksym Krippa continues to strengthen his position as one of the key figures in the industry, ensuring that Ukrainian content remains competitive on the international stage.
